PAPER: 25
TITLE: Designing a Hybrid User Interface : A Case Study on an Oil and Gas Application

This paper addresses an important issue in 3D interaction and application. 3D annotation, VR-Nav and VR-Manip, and WIMPS as well as the transition are discussed. The paper however is short in describing the novelty of implementation or solution approach developed in this paper.

The application used in this paper also can be enhanced particulary in terms of benefits of using the methods developed compared to other applications and other approaches.

The reference format can be also improved following the ACM SIGGRAPH conference convention.

The overall structure of the paper is alright.

PAPER: 25
TITLE: Designing a Hybrid User Interface : A Case Study on an Oil and Gas Application

In this paper the authors are exploring the possibility to design an efficient hybrid user interface. This being a difficult area for research the authors seems to be succeeded to accomplish a HUI which serves the purposes of the case study. However there is no usability study which can justify the findings of the authors. I strongly suggest them to include qualitative and quantitative studies.
