Creating branch groups
- BranchGroup extends Group and
creates a branch graph, a
major branch in the scene graph
- Can be attached to a Locale
(or SimpleUniverse)
- Can be compiled
- Can be a child of any grouping node
- Can detach itself from its parent (if that parent
has appropriate capabilities enabled)
- Adding a BranchGroup to a Locale makes
it live
- Once live or compiled,
changes are constrained to those enabled
by capabilities
